Romanova is the capital city of the Universal Free Alliance, home to most of the governing bodies of the entire Hive system, including the Senate and the Censor's office. Romanova is located somewhere on the island of Sardinia (see map). Due to its role as administrative hub of the Alliance, it is considered to be the capital for Greylaw Hiveless. It was built in collaboration with all hives, though the Masons volunteered to fund its construction with the stipulation that they would decide the city's layout - a recreation and enhancement of the city of Rome, which was bombed and ruined in the Church Wars.
