Bridger was a miracle, a 13-year-old child with the power to bring inanimate objects and representations to life. He lived in secret in the flower trenches of Cielo de Pajaros, under the protection of Mycroft Canner and Thisbe Saneer. He ultimately transformed himself into The Major to avoid being used by any one faction in the upcoming war.
